06. Colpotomia posterior - Método de ligadura tubária.

"The techinique and results of the 149 posterior colpotomies for tubal ligation are presented: 43 (28,8%) underwent the sterilization procedure only and 106 (71,2%)were sterilized in the course of other urogenital procedures. 79% of operating time was within one hour for simple colpotomies The average time of hospitalization was 64,2 hours for simple colpotomy and 88 for colpotomies withe associated surgeries. The post operative complication rate was 3,4% of low morbity and 2 failures following tubal ligation with the Pomeroy or fimbriectomy methods. The procedure is recomented by the authors as being simple, relatively safe and reduced hospitalization and comfort for the patient. "

10. Ligadura tubária transvaginal.

The authors presented their experience with vaginal tubal ligation. They studied 100 cases (59% Univ. Dep. Patients: 41% private patients). The techinic utilized was the one described by inglulla (1960) and Wothman & Piotrow (1973), wirh some modifications. In 76% of the cases, tubal ligation was associated to others vaginal complementary surgeries. The duration of the tubal ligation whwn it was done alone, varied from 30 minutes to 2 hours. The average time was 35 minutes for trained surgeons and 75 minutes for in training ones. In 3% of the cases vaginal tubal ligation turned out to be technically and the abdominal approach was mandatory The following intra and post-operatory complications were observed vaginal bleeding "cull dusac" abscess, vaginal and retum perforation. A total of 10 patients were interviewed and tehe results showed a good acceptationfor the methodas well as aclear improment of sexyal satisfaction..."
