Interior e fachada da Usina Catende, situada no município de mesmo nome na margem esquerda do Rio Pirangi. Foi adquirida pela firma Mendes Lima & Co. em 1907 que a reformou em 1912, aumentando sua capacidade de moagem de 200 para 1000 toneladas diárias. Na década de 1920 passou para outro proprietário.
